The Huawei K662C is a three-in-one device with three working modes: optical modem, wireless router, and fiber optic networking mode (the setup is more complex, requiring shell completion and firmware updates, not recommended for ordinary users, and will not be covered here). Mode switching can be done in the settings. The K662C hardware configuration includes a Hisilicon SD5117P (dual-core 1.6GHz) CPU, 128MB flash memory, and 256MB RAM. It supports dual AX channels (80MHz and 160MHz), MESH networking, and Wi-Fi 6, with a wireless speed of 3000Mbps.
The Huawei K662C is arguably the most versatile gigabit optical modem currently available. When not using it as an optical modem, it can be switched to function as a Wi-Fi 6 wireless router. Furthermore, it supports kV seamless roaming in both router and optical modem modes, and can be networked with other routers that support kV seamless roaming, such as Tianyi TY300, ZTE E1600, and H3C B365, to achieve seamless roaming.
